In my final podcast for this term, I have decided to interview Steve about his children and their experiences with bullying.

Bullying videocast

September 26, 2006

YouTube Video

There it is, the final video cast for this semester. This one is about bullying and your child, including signs of bullying and what you can do to help your child.

The only problem with the video that I don’t like is the volume, but that isn’t something I could easily fix.

Please, view it and enjoy. I hope that you come out with something that will help in the future.

And here is the process that I went thru, in Voo2Do goodness.

Quickie with Jamie

September 5, 2006

Another podcast has been posted to my podomatic site (http://sashayee.podomatic.com).

This is simply about his chapter in the Instructional book which you can view at

Any comments, post away.

Voo2do task

August 29, 2006

Okies, task completed.

http://voo2do.com/pub/jamie%20interview%20sasha

go there to see what we have to do to get an interview with Jamie. It almost seems that it would be a bit too hard to be worthwhile.

Once again, there’s a new podcast for all you boys and girls to listen to me. Thankfully, this one is a bit more entertaining than the last one. Hopefully my voice is a little less monotonous, and there are even a couple songs there to help you stay interested.

Anyway this one is about, as you may have guessed if you read the title, about M. David Merrill’s three rules for learning. Speciffically its an instructional podcast where I hope to teach you those three rules, so that you may go out and one day apply them to something that you may need to make one day or another.

Feel free to leave comments on this post, the podcast or anything else that’s on your mind.
Thanks,

Sash

Oh, methinks that you might want an actual link to the web site that’s hosting the podcast… look no further than here and this link.

Well, judging from the title, you may be thinking that this is a royal showdown of epic proportions. You will then, be mightly disappointed. Although Sir instruction wins the war, Sir Information severly blitzes his competition in this podcast.

To download the new podcast, go to my Podomatic site and download it.

Vector Flower

Got bored, posted some vector work.

Okies. I can’t guarantee this, but here is the first of what I expect to be many different podcasts about a variety of different subjects.

The first here is about RSS feeds, and I hope that it provides you with some insight into how the technology works.

Anyways, here is a list of different aggregators.

There are a couple of different online aggregators that people have access to, such as:

  • Google Reader: This is the aggregator that I currently use. I haven’t used a lot of different ones, but this seems to do the job, and because it does, I don’t think that I can really complain about much more.
  • GreatNews: I have used this a little, and it seems to be a good alternative to the online one that I currently use (see above). It has a great feature list, such as tabbed browsing which makes it easy to look at several different posts at once.

Anyways, I don’t really know how to make an RSS feed, but there are lots of resources on the internet that you can draw on to get the information that you need. A google search, for example, is an excellent way to get the information you need.

Almost forgot, below is a picture of the RSS feed icon, that is used all over the world to show that they have an RSS feed. To find out more, chect out the official website at http://www.feedicons.com/.

TAFE: Semester 2

July 18, 2006

Well, its the second term of TAFE, and I have to say that so far there isn’t much that I can say about it.

Our new time table is a little more varied than last semester, being

Monday Tuesday Wednesday
Morning 9.00-1.00 9.00-1.00 9.00-1.00
Afternoon 1.30-4.30 1.30-4.00 1.30-4.30

Compared to this semseter which is:

Monday Tuesday Wednesday
Morning 11.00-1.00 9.00-11.30 8.30-10.00
10.00-12.00
Afternoon 1.30-4.30 12.00-4.00 12.00-5.00

Anyway, I am looking forward to another long and difficult, but overall enjoyable 18 weeks.
